[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nTrading Symbol: SFR: TSX-Venture\n\n\nVANCOUVER, June 25 /CNW/ - Starfire Minerals Inc. and Starfire Precious\nMetals Inc., a division of Starfire Minerals Inc., are pleased to announce a\ndiamond drill program is to be conducted on the Porphyry Pearl Property which\nis situated in the Toodoggone mining district in northern BC. The company's\nfield operator, Arnex Resources Ltd has signed an agreement with Black Hawk\nDrilling Ltd, based in Smithers BC, to conduct a minimum of 3,000 metres, and\nup to a maximum of 6,000 metres of NQ core drilling on the property during the\n2007 field season. This drill program and expanded work on the project is in\nconjunction with the recommendations of a recent 43-101 compliant technical\nreport by Dr. N.C. Carter, PHD, P.Eng and a detailed geophysical report of\nPeter E Walcott & Associates Ltd.\n\n\nA camp accommodating up to 20 workers that was located on the property\nduring the 2006 field season to support the recent geophysical surveys will be\nre-established when access and snow-pack conditions permit, probably mid July.\nDrilling is scheduled to commence shortly thereafter.\n\n\nThe Property occupies an area of 6000 hectares and is located\napproximately 10 kilometres north of the Toodoggone River, some 300 kilometres\nnorth of Smithers. The Property lies within a northwest trending belt of upper\nTriassic to lower Jurassic volcanic rocks intruded by granitic to monzonitic\nrocks of early Jurassic age. Porphyry copper-gold occurrences are numerous\nwithin the belt.
