[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nTSXV: SFR\n\nVANCOUVER, Feb. 17 /CNW/ - Starfire Nickel Inc., a division of Starfire\nMinerals Inc. is pleased to announce that the mobilization of exploration\ncrews has begun in Timmins, Ontario to conduct an extensive winter exploration\nprogram on their 100% owned Nickel project, the Langmuir South Property.\nThe property is located about 25 km southeast of Timmins, Ontario in the\ncentral part of Langmuir Township, Ontario. Vehicular access to the property\nis by forestry roads extending southeast from South Porcupine (Timmins) to the\npast producing Langmuir No. 2 Mine Site. From this point, a network of roads\nand trails provide easy access to all parts of the property.\nThe exploration program consists of a geophysical program and diamond\ndrilling to confirm and establish a historical resource on the property. The\nresource is said to be south of the Langmuir 2 mine, which is located 500\nmeters north of the boundaries of the SFR Langmuir South Property.\nThe South Zone of the Langmuir No. 2 deposit extends onto Starfire's\nLangmuir South property. A historical inferred resource of about 181,400\ntonnes grading 1.5 % Ni is thought to remain in the South Zone. It is\nestimated that approximately 100,000 tonnes of this historical resource\nresides on the Starfire Minerals property (Harron 2006). While the stated\nhistorical inferred resource is considered relevant, it cannot be verified by\nrecent exploration programs and is not 43-101 compliant. The company considers\nthese estimates to be exploration targets that are conceptual in nature.\n(There has been insufficient exploration on these targets to define a mineral\nresource and it is uncertain if further exploration will result in the\ndiscovery of a mineral resource. These estimates should not be relied upon for\ninvestment purposes.)\nThe historical Langmuir No. 2 mine is located on the Langmuir North\nproperty, which is owned by Inspiration Mining (TSX-V: ISM). Inspiration\nMining is currently conducting a drill program on their contiguous Langmuir\nNorth property.\nThis press release was reviewed and verified by G. Harron P.
