[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 7572I Walker Greenbank PLC 18 March 2010 \n \n\n \n\n\n\n\nFor immediate release \n\n\n 18 March 2010\n\n\n\n\n \n \nRNS REACH\n \nWALKER GREENBANK PLC\n(\"Walker Greenbank\" or \"the Company\")\n \n \nSanderson's 150th Anniversary Exhibition opens in London\n \nWalker Greenbank PLC (AIM: WGB), the luxury interior furnishings group whose brands include Sanderson, Morris & Co., Harlequin and Zoffany, is pleased to announce that an exhibition celebrating the 150th anniversary of its Sanderson brand will open tomorrow at the Fashion and Textile Museum in London.\nThe exhibition, entitled Very Sanderson - 150 years of English Decoration, highlights fabrics and wallpapers from the Sanderson archive reflecting the brand's unrivalled position at the forefront of contemporary interior decoration from the Arts & Crafts movement to the present day. The exhibition also includes a display of Sanderson's advertising posters and other artefacts.\nIn addition, the exhibition previews a completely new collection of Sanderson prints and wallpapers named Vintage Fabrics and Wallpapers, designed specifically to mark the 150th anniversary. This historically inspired collection reinterprets iconic Sanderson designs from the 1890s to the 1980s. \nTo coincide with the opening of the exhibition, Thames & Hudson is launching a 200-page hardback book, Sanderson: The Essence of English Decoration. The book, which includes a preface by Zandra Rhodes, catalogues the history of Sanderson and includes more than 200 colour illustrations. The book is available from booksellers and from the Fashion and Textile Museum.\nTheVery Sanderson exhibition runs until Sunday 13 June 2010 and is open Wednesday to Sunday from 11am to 6pm.
