[{"type":"text","content":"\n \nRNS Number : 8542I Walker Greenbank PLC 09 July 2013 \n\n \n\n\n\n\nFor immediate release\n\n\n 9 July 2013\n\n\n\n\n \nRNS REACH \n \nWALKER GREENBANK PLC\n(\"Walker Greenbank\" or \"the Company\")\n \n \nSanderson at the Coronation Festival\n \n \nWalker Greenbank PLC (AIM: WGB), the luxury interior furnishings group whose brands include Sanderson, Morris & Co., Harlequin, Zoffany and Scion, announces that its Sanderson brand has been chosen to showcase its fabrics and wallcoverings at this week's Coronation Festival, a prestigious event to celebrate the 60th anniversary of HM The Queen's coronation.\n \nThe Coronation Festival, which begins on Thursday this week, will take place in the Gardens of Buckingham Palace and will feature a select group of companies that hold the Royal Warrant of Appointment, the prized mark of recognition for businesses that supply the Royal households.\n \nSanderson, which was founded in 1860, was awarded a Royal warrant initially in 1923 and has been able to display the Royal Arms on its products for the past 90 years. Its current Royal warrant was issued in 1955, two years after HM The Queen's coronation, and includes the wording \"By appointment to HM Queen Elizabeth II Suppliers of Wallpapers, Paints & Fabrics\".\n \nSanderson's display at the Coronation Festival will include a selection of the brand's most iconic fabrics and wallpapers produced during the past 150 years.\n \nThe Coronation Festival begins on 11 July 2013 and has the objective of promoting the very best of UK plc. Around 60,000 people are expected to visit during the festival's four-day duration.
