[{"type":"text","content":"\n Walker Greenbank PLC\n01 October 2007\n\n\nFor immediate release 1 October 2007\n\n\n\n RNS Reach\n WALKER GREENBANK PLC\n ('Walker Greenbank' or 'the Company')\n Sanderson and Zoffany win premier design awards\n\n\n\nWalker Greenbank PLC (AIM: WGB), the designer, manufacturer and distributor of\nfurnishing fabrics and wallpapers whose international business includes the\nbrands Sanderson, Morris & Co, Harlequin and Zoffany, is pleased to announce\nthat the Company has won two prestigious prizes, for Best Wallpaper and Best\nPrinted Fabric, in Homes & Gardens magazine's Fabric Awards 2007.\n\n\n\nThe Company won the Best Wallpaper award for a new Sanderson design called\nEtchings & Roses, which is part of the newly launched Parchment Flowers\ncollection. The judge of the award described Etchings & Roses as 'a great blend\nof classic and contemporary with document designs given new life with beautiful\ncolours'.\n\n\n\nA new Zoffany design, Botanique from the newly launched Archive Prints III\ncollection, was the winner of the Best Fabric award. The judge of the award\nsaid: 'This versatile range of fabrics offers the perfect way to inject simple\npattern into a contemporary interior. The colours are a delight.'\n\n\n\nThe Parchment Flowers and Archive Print III collections, which were designed in\nour studios and inspired by the Company's extensive archive of design materials,\nwere launched at last week's Focus interior design show in London.\n\n\n\nThe two awards from Homes & Gardens reflect the success of Walker Greenbank's\ninvestment in design during the past two years and reinforce the Company's\nreputation as one of the UK's leading interior design houses.\n\n\n\nJohn Sach, Walker Greenbank's Chief Executive, said: 'We are delighted to\nreceive these prestigious awards which recognise the quality and desirability of\nour new product collections.
