Walker Greenback plc ('the Company') was informed by Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc.
on 12 October 2000, pursuant to section 203 of the Companies Act 1985 ('the
Act'), of a change in circumstances given to the Company by Merrill Lynch
Investment Management Ltd ('MLIM') affecting their interest as disclosed
pursuant to the Act, that the companies, the names and addresses of which are
detailed in part one of the first schedule to this announcement (being certain
holding companies of MLIM), have interests in the relevant share capital of the
Company disclosed in the second schedule to this announcement; and the
companies, the names and addresses of which are set out in part two of the first
schedule to this announcement (which are holding companies of MLIM and certain
other companies), have interests in the relevant share capital of the Company
disclosed in the second schedule to this announcement.
