[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 2955A Greenwich Loan Income Fund Ltd 28 January 2011 \n \n\nNOT FOR RELEASE, PUBLICATION OR DISTRIBUTION IN WHOLE OR IN PART IN OR INTO ANY JURISDICTION WHERE TO DO SO WOULD CONSTITUTE A VIOLATION OF THE RELEVANT LAWS OF SUCH JURISDICTION \n \n28 JANUARY 2011\n \nRECOMMENDED ACQUISITION OF ASSET MANAGEMENT INVESTMENT COMPANY PLC (\"AMIC\") BY\nGREENWICH LOAN INCOME FUND LIMITED (\"GLIF\")\n \nRESULT OF COURT HEARING\n \n \nFurther to the announcement on 24 January 2011, the boards of AMIC and GLIF are pleased to announce today that the High Court of Justice in England & Wales (the \"Court\") approved the Reduction of Capital and sanctioned the Scheme at the hearing held earlier today.\n \nTimetable\n \nAs set out in the Scheme Circular, the Scheme is expected to become effective on 31 January 2011, upon the registration of the Court Order at Companies House. \n \nGiven the timing of the registration of the Court Order at Companies House, however, the GLIF board advises that the date of admission of the 11,333,610 New GLIF Shares to trading on AIM and these New GLIF Shares and the 87,300,000 Existing GLIF Shares to the Official List of the CISX is now expected to take place at 8.00 a.m. on Tuesday 1 February 2011.\n \nTerms used in this announcement shall have the same meaning as set out in the Scheme Circular.\n \n* If any of the above times and/or dates change, the revised times and/or dates will be notified by announcement through the regulatory information service of the London Stock Exchange.
