(“Ivanhoe Electric”) (NYSE American:\nIE; TSX: IE), is pleased to provide an update on the 2025 exploration\nprogram at the polymetallic Samapleu-Grata Nickel-Copper Project (the\n“Project”) in Côte d'Ivoire, West Africa, which includes the\npolymetallic Samapleu and Grata Deposits which were the focus of the\n2024 Preliminary Economic Assessment (the “2024 PEA Area”) (refer\nto\n \n\n\n\n Sama’s March 21, 2024\nnews release\n \n\n\n\n ). The Project is a 60/40\njoint venture between Ivanhoe Electric and Sama, with Sama acting as\nthe operator (the “Joint Venture”).
