[{"type":"text","content":"Sama Resources has launched a 3,800 Metre Drilling Program at the Yepleu Nickel-Copper Prospect in Cote d'Ivoire, West-Africa\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Montreal, Quebec –\n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n October 17, 2023 – Sama Resources\nInc.\n \n (“\n \n Sama\n \n ” or the\n“\n \n Company\n \n ”) (TSXV:SME)\n(OTC:SAMMF) is pleased to announce an ongoing 3,800 metre (“m”)\ndrilling program at the Yepleu prospect located 25 km south-west of\nthe Samapleu-Grata deposits in western Côte d’Ivoire,\nWest-Africa.\n \n \n \n \n The current drilling program is following-up on near surface nickel\n(“Ni”), copper (“Cu”) and platinum group of elements\n(“PGE”) mineralisation previously discovered by Sama. The\ninvestigated area represents a corridor of approximately three\nkilometres (“km”) oriented north-west to south-east by 500 m to\n700 m wide (Figures 1 & 2) and overlays strong conductivity from\nour 2013 and 2018 airborne electromagnetic surveys. The drilling\nprogram started in mid-September 2023 and is expected to last until\nmid-November.\n \n \n \n “We are excited to initiate this\nsubstantial drilling program at the Yepleu prospect near the surface\nmineralised zone.\n \n \n Sama’s\n focus over the past five  years has largely been on the deep\npotential at Yepleu, using Ivanhoe Electric proprietary Typhoon\ntechnology.  This new corridor at Yepleu gives us the opportunity to\nunlock the near surface potential at Yepleu as well.\n \n ” said\nDr. Marc-Antoine Audet, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sama\nResources.”  Dr. Audet added, “\n \n The Yepleu’s 24km\n \n \n 2\n \n \n prospective area has consistently demonstrated its mineral-rich\npotential since we discovered the sector”.\n \n \n \n The objective of the current drilling program is to delineate near\nsurface Ni-Cu-PGE mineralisation that has the potential to increase\nthe global mineral resources of the entire project area. Eighteen\nholes totaling 1,200 m have been drilled to date, a total of 50 holes\nand 3,800 metres are planned. Drilling is being conducted using two\nSama owned core drill rigs.
