[{"type":"text","content":"Sama Announces Commencement of Pre-Feasibility Study at Samapleu\n \n \n (TheNewswire)\n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n \n Drilling at Yepleu, Samapleu and\nGrata is ongoing with the discovery of new mineralized zones\n \n \n \n \n Montreal, Quebec –\n \n \n TheNewswire -\n \n \n June 15, 2021 – Sama Resources\nInc.\n \n \n (“Sama” or the “Company”)\n(TSXV:SME\n \n \n )\n \n \n (\n \n \n OTC:SAMMF) is pleased to announce that\n \n \n in collaboration with our partner Ivanhoe Electric\n(previously HPX), the Company will upgrade the 2020\n \n \n Preliminary Economic Assessment (“\n \n \n PEA\n \n \n ”) to a\nPre-Feasibility Study (“\n \n \n PFS\n \n \n ”) aimed at launching production at the\n \n \n Samapleu deposit for producing a nickel\n(“\n \n \n Ni\n \n \n ”) concentrate and a copper (“\n \n \n Cu\n \n \n ”) concentrate.\n \n \n The 2020 PEA was prepared by DRA Global’s\noffice, in Montreal, Canada through DRA Met-Chem (“\n \n \n DRA\n \n \n ”). The PEA\nshowed a Pre-Tax NPV of US$615M, and IRR of 32.5%.\n \n \n The mineral processing plant proposed in the PEA is designed\nto process 2.4 Mtpy of run-of-mine mineralized material to produce\n39,000 tpy of nickel concentrate at 10.34% Ni grade and 15,000 tpy of\ncopper concentrate at 23.00% Cu grade.\n \n \n DRA will\nupdate the PEA over the next few months and an Environmental Impact\nStudy will be launched in Q3 2021 following guidelines defined by the\nAgence Nationale de l’Environnement (ANDE) in Ivory Coast. Figures 1\nand 2 show the proposed layout for the future operation at Samapleu as\nwell as DRA’s proposed flowsheet for producing concentrates.\n \n \n \n \n “S\n \n \n ama is\nresponding positively to the call from industry leaders for producing\nmore nickel.
