(OTCQB:SLNM) today announced its results for the \n three months ended June 30, 2014.\n \n \n Highlights:\n \n \n \n Net revenue was $1.2 million\n \n \n Unique visitors to Salon.com grew 60% compared to the same period last \n year\n \n \n Salon.com reached all-time-high traffic of 17.6 million users for \n month of June 2014\n \n \n Mobile readers grew 122% compared to same quarter last year\n \n \n Social media referral traffic grew 121% compared to the same quarter \n last year and 37% compared to previous quarter\n \n \n \n Net revenue for the period was $1.2 million, unchanged with the $1.2 \n million reported for the three months ended June 30, 2013.\n \n \n Operating expenses for the three months ended June 30, 2014 rose 11% to \n $2.1 million compared to $1.9 million for the same period last year. The \n $0.2 million increase resulted primarily from higher stock-based \n compensation and an increase in professional fees. The Company’s loss \n from operations for the three months ended June 30, 2014 was $0.9 \n million, compared to a loss of $0.7 million for the same period last \n year.\n \n \n Unique visitors to the Salon.com Website are an important driver for \n Salon’s business as achieving scale should increase the Website’s \n attractiveness to advertisers. Unique visitors to the Salon.com Website \n during the June 2014 quarter increased 60% compared to the quarter ended \n June 30, 2013, and increased 20% compared to the prior quarter ended \n March 31, 2014, according to data compiled by Google Analytics. Unique \n visitors as measured by comScore Media Metrix increased 24% compared to \n the quarter ended March 31, 2014, and no comparable data was available \n for the June 2013 quarter.
