[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n\n\n\n\n\nRNS Number : 0267C Safestore Holdings plc 01 March 2011 \n \n\n \n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\nFOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE\n\n\n1 March 2011\n\n\n\n\n \nSafestore Holdings plc\n (\"Safestore\" or the \"Company\")\n \nCEO Appointment\n \nSafestore Holdings plc, the largest self storage retailer in the UK and Paris, announces that today Peter Gowers becomes Chief Executive Officer of the Company, following the retirement of his predecessor Steve Williams.\n \nPeter, aged 38, joins from InterContinental Hotels Group PLC ('IHG') where most recently he was Chief Executive, Asia-Pacific. \n \nPeter Gowers, Chief Executive Officer, commented:\n \n\"At Safestore we have a powerful combination of consumer brands, operational skills, real estate understanding and a national network that gives us a strong platform for the future. I am looking forward to working with the team and leading the business into the next phase of its development.\"\n \nPeter began his career at Arthur D.Little before joining the strategy group of Bass PLC in 1999.
