Aortech International PLC 27 January 2004 The Board of AorTech International plc ('the Company') announces that it has received an approach that may lead to an offer for the entire issued share capital of the Company. However discussions are at an early stage and there can be no certainty that an offer will be received as the Company is currently unable to meet all the pre-conditions attached to the approach, some of which were not within its control.
