The invention relates to biostable gels, the processes for their preparation and their use in the manufacture and repair of biomaterials and medical devices or implants, in particular soft tissue implants such as breast implants.\n \nBill Brown, Chairman of AorTech said: \"The issue of this patent further expands AorTech's patent portfolio, particularly in the area of breast implants. Brazil is one of the largest markets for breast enhancement outside of the USA and is therefore an important patent territory.
