Leroy Young, M.D., and Mark L Jewell, M.D. Between\nthem, they bring eighty years' combined experience in plastic surgery. The\nMedical Advisory Board will play a key role in the development and promotion of\nAorTech's unique and highly versatile Elast-EonTM product, in a range of\nsurgical applications.\n\nLeroy Young (aged 60) is currently Plastic Surgeon and Partner at Body Aesthetic\nPlastic Surgery & Skincare Centre, Chief of Surgical Services, Barnes-Jewish\nWest County Hospital and a Consultant at the Breast Implant Research Group at\nWashington University, St Louis, Missouri. Over a period of 13 years he played a\nkey leadership role in the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons\n(ASAPS), where he served on the Board of Directors and held a number of\ncommittee positions, including leadership in strategic planning, finance and\ninvestment and patient safety issues. Dr Young is on the Breast Implant Task\nForce, and a key opinion leader and publisher of articles (over 170) in this\nfield.\n\nMark Jewell (aged 58) is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Plastic Surgery at\nOregon Health Science University in Portland, Oregon and has practiced plastic\nsurgery in Eugene, Oregon for the last 27 years. He holds several leadership\npositions at the ASAPS and is currently Immediate Past President. He is also\nCo-Chair of the Breast Implant Task Force and Group Co-Chair of the Breast\nImplant Work Group for the ASAPS and ASPS (American Society of Plastic\nSurgeons). Mark also brings valuable experience in general and breast surgery to\nthe Medical Advisory Board.
