[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\nSuccessful trials result in several opportunities and pilot projects\n\n\nTORONTO, July 9 /CNW/ - Route1 Inc.(TM) (TSX-V:ROI), the trusted provider\nof security and identity management network solutions, today announced that\nrecent Coalition Warrior Interoperability Demonstration (CWID) trials exceeded\nall expectations, and have led the way for pilots, further testing, and\nextreme interest in its suite of defense and space products and solutions.\n\n\nCWID took place June 11 - 22, 2007, across seven government and military\nsites worldwide. It is the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff's annual\nevent enabling US Combatant Commands (COCOMs) and the international community\nto investigate new and emerging technologies, including command, control,\ncommunications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance\n(C4ISR) solutions that focus on relevant and timely objectives for enhancing\ncoalition interoperability. US Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM), on behalf of\nthe Chairman, is responsible for the oversight of CWID. The intent of CWID is\nto investigate C4ISR technologies capable of being placed into an operational\nenvironment within 12-18 months following the execution period.\n\n\nHanscom Air Force Base in Bedford Massachusetts was amongst the 7 CWID\nsites at which Route1 technology was successfully demonstrated. In addition to\ntrials being performed at Hanscom, role players were deployed to other\nlocations to test and demonstrate various technologies. "If it weren't for\nMobiKEY IBAD, I would not have been able to accomplish my mission from the\nEuropean Command in Stuttgart," exclaimed Bob Gee, Hanscom's Lead Engineer.\n"IBAD saved the day."\n\n\nRoute1's trials focused on two key objectives. The first was Integrated\nOperations: enhance the commander's capability to command, control and\ncoordinate across joint and coalition forces, government agencies,\nnon-governmental organizations (NGO), and first responders with an emphasis on\nimproving mobility, survivability and adaptive dominance. The second was\nIntegrated Planning: provide solutions that improve the COCOM's ability to\nconduct collaborative planning with coalition partners, including joint and\ncoalition forces, government agencies, NGOs and first responders - emphasizing\ntechnologies and processes that support col...
