(TSX-V:ROI), the trusted provider of security and\nidentity management network solutions, today announced the launch of Route1\nTruOFFICE(TM), the first in a series of services powered by MobiNET(TM).\nAdditional secure services will include web-based applications, VoIP, Digital\nRights Management, and custom third-party applications.\n\n\nMobiKEY, with TruOFFICE, represents the first step in Route1's strategy\nto unbundle the hardware and services it delivers. While MobiKEY has\nhistorically been associated with remote access, it is now just one of\nmultiple form-factors to which Route1 will deliver a variety of services - all\npowered by MobiNET.\n\n\n"As a combined hardware/software product, MobiKEY has proven itself to be\nan extremely compelling and cost effective solution for secure remote\ncomputing," noted Andrew White, President and CEO of Route1. The move to unbundle hardware\nand services redefines Route1's revenue stream as being in line with other\ncompanies in the technology sector, and positions Route1 to introduce\nadditional services," continued White.\n\n\nTruOFFICE allows users to securely access their desktop applications and\nnetwork resources from any location in the world - without information ever\nleaving the boundaries of the corporate firewall. Unlike VPNs, a user's\nconnection is initiated from inside the corporate firewall and extended to the\ndevice from which the service is accessed (e.g. MobiKEY). This inside out\napproach eliminates the possibility of unauthorized access through corporate\nfirewalls. In addition, since no applications or data reside on the remote\ndevice and computer, organizations can also ensure compliance with privacy,\nsecurity and governance regulations.
