In this role, McIver -\na leading authority on information security - will be responsible for ensuring\nthat MobiNET continues to deliver the highest levels of security possible. She\nwill also guide the development of new cryptographic security initiatives,\ndata security procedures and privacy policies, certificate authority\noperations and conduct ongoing threat analysis.\nRoute1 also announced that Yamian Quintero has been promoted to the role\nof Chief Scientist and Director of Applied Research. Quintero has been with\nRoute1 since 2004 and has played an instrumental role in the development of\nMobiNET, Route1's service delivery platform for secure identity management,\nand MAP - the MobiNET Administrative and Provisioning portal.
