Route1 Mobi Solution Supports Advanced Security Applications in Commercial, Government and Military Installations

TORONTO, July 6 /CNW/ - Route1 (TSX-V:ROI), an innovator in wireless
remote computing, today announced that its groundbreaking Mobi Solution will
support advanced security applications in commercial, government and military
installations.
"While organizations of all types have high security requirements for
wireless and mobile devices certain commercial, government and military users,
in particular, demand elevated encryption and security levels", said Jerry

to meet those critical requirements for sensitive and classified situations."
Route1's advanced security support will be managed on a separate
'hardened' infrastructure. All the Route1 Certificate Authorities (CAs) will
use 4096-bit private keys stored in FIPS 140-2 level 3 hardware. The Mobi
Solution's communications, which includes SSL, will use 256-bit AES encryption
and all CAs signing and verification will be done using 4096-bit private keys
and 512-bit SHA-2 algorithm.
Route1's Mobi Solution consists of a certified mobile device which comes
configured with the MobiRemote and MobiHost applications that manage and
integrate all the necessary connections and session security, which is based
on RSA KEON and RSA BSAFE technologies, through Route1's MobiNET service. The
MobiHost software is installed on a Windows personal desktop, a server, or a
blade center environment that is controlled remotely by the user.
With its advanced security design, the Mobi Solution automatically and
securely utilizes all of the existing public wireless and mobile network
infrastructures available today to give users seamless control of their
desktop or server and data. Users can remotely operate their applications, but
unlike existing remote access solutions, all applications and data with the
Mobi Solution remain safely behind the firewall.
