MAP is designed to\nprovide enterprises with greater control over user access to network\napplications and resources with the Route1 MobiKEY, an ultra-portable\ncomputing device that securely connects users to desktop and network resources\nfrom any Internet-enabled Windows-based PC.\n\n\nIdeal for large-scale enterprise deployments from 50 to tens of thousands\nof MobiKEY subscribers, MAP enables network administrators to easily add and\nremove users, revoke digital certificates, conduct audits on usage, and modify\nsubscriber rights and privileges. Policies can also be created to limit user\nconnections to enterprise resources, enable remote printing, establish\nsecurity zones for user access, and customize the number of hosts that can be\nassigned to each MobiKEY.\n\n\n\"MAP provides our enterprise clients with an added level of control over\nthe way in which employees access critical network and desktop resources,\"\nsaid Jerry Iwanski, SVP, Product Strategy and CTO at Route1. \"Instead of\nrelying on Route1 for user rights management, our clients can now bring this\nfunctionality in-house to better meet the needs of their network security\npolicies and mandates.\"\n\n\nMAP Features\n\n\n- Auditing controls enable network administrators to manage how many\n MobiKEYs are authorized to access network resources, while ensuring\n users adhere to policies designed to safeguard networks from\n unauthorized access;\n\n- Multifactor authentication and client-side certificates are used to\n ensure administration remains a highly secure process;\n\n- A local registration authority (LRA) enables administrators to\n validate users and effectively control and manage the lifecycle of\n certificates, from selecting which users are assigned security\n certificates, to revoking them in the case of loss, theft or change\n in employee status;\n\n- Enterprises are able to assign their own internal IT resources to\n manage the distribution and allocation of MobiKEYs, and usage\n policies.\n\n\nCitrus and ...
