(\"Result\" - TSX Venture:RTE)\nis pleased to announce that it has closed its previously announced bought-deal\nfinancing through Acumen Capital Finance Partners Limited (\"Acumen\"). Result\nhas raised gross proceeds of $6,640,000 by issuing a total of 5,312,000 common\nshares at $1.25 per share. (\"the Financing\"). Due to strong market demand, the\nFinancing, as announced on January 17, was expanded from an initial $5 million\nto $6.6 million.\nA four month hold period from the date of closing applies on the shares\nthat were issued pursuant to the Financing. After completion of the Financing,\nResult has 47,620,638 common shares outstanding.\nProceeds from the Financing will be used to finance ongoing exploration\nand development of Result's three core areas in the Peace River Arch region of\nAlberta, the Pembina area in central Alberta, south-west Saskatchewan, and for\ngeneral corporate purposes.\n\nResult Energy Inc. is a publicly traded Canadian energy company involved\nin the exploration and development of oil and gas properties in western\nCanada.
