Drilling to commence on El Pulpo

VANCOUVER, Sept. 6 /CNW/ - Ross River Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: RRM) (the
"Company") announces that its wholly owned subsidiary Minera Rio Ross S.A de
C.V. has signed a contract with Minera Monte Plata S.A de C.V. (Energold
Drilling), to drill a minimum of 3,000 metres and up to 9,000 metres on its 
El Pulpo property located in Sinaloa State, Mexico. Drilling is expected to
commence October 1, 2005 and will concentrate on the Cerro Colorado and La
Langosta porphyry copper targets.
