About this update from Ross River Minerals Inc.

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nVANCOUVER, Feb. 3 /CNW/ - Ross River Minerals Inc. (TSX-V: RRM) (the\n\"Company\") is pleased to announce the results of the first seven holes of the\nfirst phase of drilling conducted on its Cerro Colorado porphyry copper\ntarget.\nThe 2005 drilling program was designed to test geophysical (IP) anomalies\non the Cerro Colorado target area. The drill holes are widely spaced and\nrepresent only the first tests of these targets. Copper mineralization and\nextensive alteration were detected in all holes. Analyses of core samples were\ncarried out by ALS Chemex in North Vancouver. Sample intervals were generally\ntwo metres in length with variations determined by geological boundaries.\nQuality control procedures included the insertion of blanks and standards at\n20 sample intervals and a systematic reanalysis of duplicate samples at 20\nsample intervals. Quality control was monitored by Kennecott Exploration\nCompany.\nSummaries of results are presented below for samples containing 1000 ppm\nCu or greater, averages over larger intervals containing samples of greater\nthan 1000 ppm Cu and samples containing greater than 1 g/T Au or 32 g/T Ag\n(grams/metric tonne). Thirteen sample intervals exceed 0.5% copper, including\n3 samples with greater than 1% copper, with the highest assay returning 1.56%\ncopper. Two samples contained greater than 1 g/T Au and 4 samples returned\ngreater than 32 g/T silver.\n\n>\n\n\n\n","length":5867,"tagName":"div"}]
