[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n RDF Group PLC \n\n (\"RDF\" or \"the Group\") \n\n Interim Results and Directorate Change \n\nRDF Group plc (AIM: RFG), the I.T. services group, with offices in Brighton,\nBristol, Edinburgh and London, today announces its unaudited interim results\nfor the six months to 30 September 2008.\n\nKey Points\n\n * Revenue increased 8.4% to £15.975m (2007: £14.735m)\n \n * Operating profit, before aborted sale costs, is £0.402m (2007: £0.136m)\n \n * Operating profit is £0.348m (2007: £0.136m)\n \n * Profit for the period attributable to the equity shareholders of the parent\n company is £0.157m (2007: £0.020m)\n \n * Earnings per share 1.51p (2007: 0.19p)\n \n * Cash generated from operations is £0.830m (2007: Cash utilised by\n operations £0.717m)\n \n * Net assets per share are 23.13p (2007: 22.32p)\n \n * Managed Services division returned to profit, contributing £0.222m (2007:\n loss £0.541m) with strong growth in revenues: £6.887m (2007: £4.507m)\n \nIn addition, RDF announces that Jim Carr, Chairman, has resigned from the board\nof directors with effect from today. Robert Weir, who joined the board as a\nnon-executive director in August 2008, will take over the role as Chairman with\nimmediate effect.
