[{"type":"text","content":"\n Rockhopper Exploration plc\n01 May 2008\n\nRockhopper Exploration PLC ('the Company')\n\n\n\nIssue of Equity and Total Voting Rights\n\n\n\nRockhopper Exploration plc ('the Company') announces that, following receipt of\na Notice of Exercise from HSBC Bank plc, options have been exercised in respect\nof 238,095 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ('Ordinary Shares') at\na price of 42p per Ordinary Share.\n\n\n\nThe option to purchase Ordinary Shares was granted on 9 August 2005, the date of\nthe Company's admission to trading on AIM.\n\n\n\nApplication has been made for the new Ordinary Shares to be admitted to trading\non AIM on or around 7 May 2008.
