[{"type":"text","content":"\n Rockhopper Exploration plc\n06 February 2006\n\n\n \nPRESS RELEASE\n\nMonday 6 February 2006\n\n Rockhopper Exploration plc\n\n Falkland Islands survey programme update\n\n\nRockhopper Exploration plc ('Rockhopper') is pleased to give the following\nprogress report on its Falkland Islands exploration programme:\n\n2D seismic survey: The GSI vessel, the GSI Pacific is now in the Falkland\nIslands and has commenced the 2D seismic programme of approximately 900km over\nRockhopper's 100% licences PL023 and PL024.\n\nThe programme, which should take approximately 4 weeks, will add to the existing\n1832km of 2D data covering licences PL023 and PL024 on which a number of\nprospects and leads have already been identified.\n\nElectromagnetic survey: Offshore Hydrocarbon Mapping plc has completed the first\ncontrolled source electromagnetic (CSEM) survey over Rockhopper's 'J1' prospect\nin licence PL024.
