[{"type":"text","content":"\n \n \n RNS Number : 8532U\n Rockfire Resources PLC\n 03 August 2020\n \n \n \n 03 August 2020\n Rockfire Resources plc\n (\"Rockfire\" or the \"Company\")\n \n \n \n \n Highest gold grades to date drilled at Plateau\n \n \n \n \n \n Rockfire Resources plc (LON: ROCK) the gold and base metal exploration company, is pleased to announce that Reverse Circulation (\"RC\") drilling which was completed in June 2020, has intersected some of the highest gold grades to date in the top 200m from surface at the Company's 100%-owned Plateau Gold Deposit (\"Plateau\"), part of the Lighthouse tenement in North Queensland, Australia. \n Highlights:\n \n · \n A shallow, infill drill hole (BPL034) has intersected 90 m @ 0.8 g/t Au (from surface), including:\n \n \n o \n 22 m @ 2.0 g/t Au (from 45 m)\n \n \n o \n 43 m @ 1.5 g/t Au (from 35 m)\n \n \n o \n A peak value of 1 m @ 11.4 g/t Au occurs at 66 m.\n \n \n \n \n \n · \n \n BPL034\n \n also returned lengthy silver values of 90 m @ 4.3 g/t Ag (from surface), including:\n \n \n o \n 20 m @ 10.3 g/t Ag (from 35 m)\n \n \n o \n A peak value of 1 m @ 29.3 g/t Ag occurs at 50 m.\n \n \n \n \n \n · \n A water bore, drilled to provide water for the diamond drilling returned 100 m @ 0.3 g/t Au, including:\n \n \n o \n 7 m @ 1.0 g/t Au (from 51 m)\n \n \n o \n 20 m @ 0.6 g/t Au (from 39 m)\n \n \n o \n 10 m @ 0.7 g/t Au (from 84 m).\n \n \n \n \n \n · \n The water bore also returned lengthy silver results of 130 m @ 4.7 g/t Ag, including:\n \n \n o \n 9 m @ 13.1 g/t Ag (from 84 m).\n \n \n o \n A peak value of 1 m @ 17.8 g/t Ag occurs at 91 m.\n \n \n \n \n \n · \n The water bore also returned an extensive zinc interval of 130 m @ 0.7 % Zn, including:\n \n \n o \n 14 m @ 2.0 % Zn (from 84 m)\n \n \n o \n 53 m @ 1.0 % Zn (from 54 m)\n \n \n o \n A peak value of 1 m @ 3.9 % Zn occurs at 52 m.\n \n \n \n \n \n · \n These results are from the first two of five RC holes drilled in June 2020. A table detailing the drill collars is provided below.
