[{"type":"text","content":"\n Robert Walters PLC\n12 July 2006\n\n12 JULY 2006\n\n ROBERT WALTERS PLC\n ('Robert Walters' or 'the Company')\n\n APPOINTMENT OF NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR\n\n\nRobert Walters, the global recruitment specialist, is pleased to announce today\nthe appointment of Martin Griffiths as a Non-Executive Director of the Company,\nwith immediate effect.\n\nMartin Andrew Griffiths (aged 40) is Finance Director of Stagecoach Group plc,\nthe international transport company, a position he has held for the last 6\nyears. From 1997 until 2000, he was Business Development Director at\nStagecoach, having previously worked at Arthur Andersen, where he qualified as a\nChartered Accountant in 1991.\n\nDuring his time at Stagecoach, as well as being responsible for overall\nfinancial policy, taxation, treasury and property portfolio management and\ninvestor relations, Martin has been personally involved in a range of\nsignificant transactions. Martin is currently Chairman of the Group of Scottish\nFinance Directors and in 2004 won the Young Scottish Finance Director of the\nYear Award.\n\nTimothy Barker, Chairman of Robert Walters, commented:\n\n'We are very pleased to have secured the services of Martin Griffiths.
