[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n8 May 2025\nRoadside Real Estate plc\n(\"Roadside\" or \"the Company\")\nAppointment of new Chair\n \nRoadside, (AIM: ROAD) is pleased to announce the appointment of Stephen (\"Steve\") Carson as Non-Executive Chair of the Board with immediate effect.\nSteve brings a wealth of relevant experience and knowledge to the Company, with over 30 years of experience in the consumer and retail industries. Until July 2024, Steve was group CEO of ScS plc, the second largest furniture retailer in the UK, where he led the sale of the business to Cerezzola Limited, a subsidiary of Poltronesofà SpA. Prior to ScS plc, Steve was the Group Managing Director of Holland and Barrett. Steve has also held senior leadership positions in other well-known brands such as Sainsburys, Argos and Homebase. Additionally, Steve spent several years as a trustee at Marie Curie charity where he also held the role of Chair of the Retail Board. \nUpon Steve's appointment to the Board, Charles Dickson will relinquish his role as Executive Chair and assume the role of Chief Executive Officer. \nCharles Dickson, CEO of Roadside, commented:\n\"Steve brings vast experience and strategic insight, having held senior executive and board-level positions across multiple sectors.
