[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 7874Q RM PLC 20 April 2009 \n \n 20 April 2009\n\nRM selected to provide on-screen marking services for the International Baccalaureate\nRM and the International Baccalaureate (IB) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) covering the development and delivery of an e-marking service for the IB's range of qualifications. \nRM Assessment, RM's specialist exam services division, has been working with the IB for the past year, piloting e-marking services. The MOU formalises this relationship and provides a structure for RM and the IB to enter into a long-term strategic partnership. Subject to successful development of the service, RM anticipates entering into a multi-year contract with the IB for the delivery of marking support services.\nIB Director General, Jeffrey Beard, said: \n'With the anticipated five-fold growth of IB programmes between now and 2020, at the IB we need to modernise the way in which we handle marking.
