[{"type":"text","content":"\n RM PLC\n26 September 2007\n\n\n \n 26 September 2007\n\n RM takes top grades in summer examination season\n\n\nRM's on-screen marking service has successfully processed in excess of 2 million\nexamination scripts, with over 50,000 GCSE examination scripts marked per day at\nthe height of the busy summer marking season. The innovative service, which RM\nprovides for Cambridge Assessment, Europe's largest assessment agency, is built\naround the Group's scoris(R) e-Marking system. Cambridge Assessment selected RM\nas its on-screen marking partner in May 2007, following extensive trials.\n\nSimon Lebus, Chief Executive of Cambridge Assessment, said:\n\n'This is the first year that we have deployed scoris on an industrial scale. It\nhas been a great success, allowing us to improve our management of the marking\nprocess and helping us to assure accurate and timely delivery of results to\nhundreds of thousands of candidates across the country.\n\n'scoris is also easy to use for the examiner, which has been one of our major\nconcerns from the start. We have had high levels of acceptance and positive\nfeedback from examiners and this reflects the careful thought and planning\ninvested in the development of the scoris by both Cambridge Assessment and RM.\n\n'I have been impressed too by the high levels of commitment shown and the easy\nand effective way in which both organisations have managed to work together.
