[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 7002Q RM PLC 09 August 2010 \n \n\n9 August 2010\n \nRM selected to provide IT services to new Academy in Staffordshire\nRM has been selected to provide IT services to Landau Forte Academy at Tamworth, a new-build Academy being established on two sites in Tamworth, Staffordshire. The sites, each with 900 students, will be dedicated to different age groups specifically 11-16 year old students and a Post-16 centre. The project is worth £2.5m to RM.\nThe Landau Forte Academy at Tamworth opens in existing buildings in September 2010 and will move to purpose-built new accommodation in September 2011. The lead sponsor for this new Academy is the Landau Forte Charitable Trust, which is responsible for the highly successful Landau Forte College in Derby. RM has been the ICT supplier to the Landau Forte College for the last ten years.\nRM will provide a wide range of Group products, including Community Connect Anywhere, RM ecoquiet PCs, a cashless catering system and connectivity to link the three Academy sites together.\nTerry Sweeney, Chief Executive of RM, said:\n\"The award of the Landau Forte Academy project is great news for RM.
