[{"type":"text","content":"\n RNS Number : 9919Z RM PLC 01 October 2009 \n1 October 2009\nRM to supply learning technologies products in the MENASA region\n\nRM has extended its international activities with the establishment of a new joint venture business, RM MENASA, based in Dubai. \n\nRM MENASA will, through subsidiaries licensed to trade in each country, provide educational ICT products and services to schools in the Middle East, North Africa and South Asia (MENASA). It will be the exclusive distributor of RM's learning technologies products in the MENASA region.\n\nThe new business is a joint venture between RM and a local partner experienced in the MENASA education sector. RM will have management control of the business, providing both the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. The initial focus of RM MENASA will be developing relationships with school operators in the Middle East, and providing educational technology services to governments and Ministries of Education in the region.\n\nTerry Sweeney, Chief Executive of RM, said:\n\n'Increasing sales of RM's products in selected international territories is a central part of my strategy for the Group.
