[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\n\nKIRKLAND LAKE, ON, Aug. 17, 2011 /CNW/ - RJK Explorations Ltd., (TSX\n Venture: RJX.A) (\"RJK\") would like to provide an update to its ongoing\n exploration activities on the 13,850 hectare Blackwater East, West and\n Dave 2 properties, located in the Nechako Plateau Gold - Copper Belt\n approximately 100 kilometers southwest of Vanderhoof, B.C.\nThe properties are contiguous both to the East and the West of the New\n Gold Davidson-Blackwater multi-million ounce, bulk tonnage gold deposit\n which is being delineated by a 40,000m - 50,000m drill program. In\n addition, the East Blackwater property is contiguous to the south of\n the Capoose gold/silver deposit (827,000 oz Au and 56.1 million oz Ag\n indicated inferred) as well as contiguous to the north of the 3T's\n vein-type gold deposit. Both of these deposits are held by Silver Quest\n Resources Ltd.\nRJK is now pleased to report that the company has completed\n approximately 1,540 line kilometers of helicopter-borne ZTEM\n geophysical surveying on its Blackwater East, West and Dave 2\n properties. This work was implemented to compliment the Dighem V\n airborne magnetic and electromagnetic survey completed last spring.\n Additional geophysical interpretation is ongoing, however, RJK is\n pleased to note that preliminary results suggest that several\n deposit-scale targets have been identified. For that reason, an\n immediate in the field follow-up of these target areas will begin,\n consisting of line cutting and IP geophysical surveying for which\n permits have already been received from the Provincial Government.\nWe are very encouraged by our exploration results to this point.
