Salute to Art Wright

Vancouver, British Columbia CANADA, January 16, 2009 /FSC/ - Prospector Consolidated Resources Inc. (PRR - TSX Venture), Art Wright turned 100 years old on Dec 20, 2008. He is and has been a major shareholder of Prospector Consolidated for many years. I had the honor to be invited to, and attended his 100th birthday party in Barrie, Ontario.

At the birthday party, Art received many accolades and letters from the Queen and the Governor General of Canada, among others. Many of his friends and relatives, who either know about Art's investment in Prospector or who are investors themselves, were in attendance. (We will update our website and put some photos of Art and the occasion on the website.)

Art has been involved with mining, exploration and farming since he came from England in the 1920's - mostly in Ontario. He has made a lot of money in the business and, of course, is very free with his advice to me on how to run a successful exploration business. I listen and take his advice.

Art is bound to his walker now but he is with me when I visit the Kalzas tungsten project in the Yukon. We'll be back up there to develop a significant tungsten project and we'll dedicate our success to our oldest shareholder.
