(TSXV: SMP) (\"Strata\" or the \"Company\") is pleased to announce further results from the Company's Phase 1\n exploration program at its 80% owned Cardabia Phosphate Project (the\n \"Cardabia Project\") located near Exmouth in Western Australia.\n\n\nSince initial results from Strata's Cardabia Project were announced on\n December 20, 2012, a further eleven holes have been analysed. An\n illustration outlining the location of all 74 holes drilled in the\n Phase 1 exploration program and the location of all sixteen holes\n analyzed to date is provided in Figure 1 below and available on the\n Company's website at www.strataminerals.com.\n\n\nSizing and XRF assay sample results received for all holes tested to\n date are provided in Table 1 below and available on the Company's\n website.\n\n\nA lithological interpretation of the additional eleven new holes\n referenced above is presented in Figure 2 below and available on the\n Company's website.\n\n\n\"These results provide further confirmation of the presence of a shallow\n sedimentary unit hosting P2O5 within mineralized zones totaling approximately 0.5-2.0 meter in\n thickness. The unit is observed to reach its easterly extent and\n outcrop along a northeast-southwest trend of some 20 km in the\n southeastern section of the Cardabia tenements, and dips gently to the\n west. In head grade samples with sufficient mass to the +1mm fraction,\n the coarse material averaged 22.7% P2O5 for all results to date\", said Peter Kozicz, President & CEO.\n\n\nThe Company's technical team has initiated work on a preliminary\n geological model using assay data and geological logs from holes\n drilled to date. Results from this exercise will help guide the team's\n recommendations going forward.\n\n\nIn addition to testing for P2O5, Strata's geochemical analysis of drillhole samples has included\n testing for SiO2, Fe2O3, Al2O3 and U3O8. The results indicate that SiO2, Fe2O3 and Al2O3, as contained in the tested samples, are amenable to being reduced\n within suitable ranges by conventional means of phosphate processing.\n Testing for U3O8 has demonstrated that it is within acceptable limits for a phosphate\n product. Future testing to re-confirm the benign results of historic\n analysis for other potentially deleteriou...
