(OTC:PGDP,\nFrankfurt:P6G) (\"Paramount\") is pleased to announce that their South American\nsubsidiary, Cia Minera Paramount SAC, head office of the Andean Gold Alliance\nwith Teck Cominco (TSX:TEK.B) in South America, has recruited a full\ngeological team which has commenced exploration on 5 key properties that have\nbeen identified as high potential. In addition to Alain Vachon and Mark\nSlauenwhite (both former senior geologists at Barrick Gold NYSE:ABX),\nParamount's staff now consists of six experienced geologists with the\nrequisite expertise for the comprehensive exploration work program planned for\nthese 5 promising properties in Chile and Argentina.\nAlain Vachon, General Manager for South America commented: \"I am very\nexcited to count on an experienced team of geologists and support staff as the\none we have built during the last two months. Most of our personnel have\nacquired experience with major companies, the majority from Barrick Gold, the\nlargest gold company in the world, where education and constant actualization\nto modern exploration techniques is a must. It is quite a\ntestament to their belief in Paramount's potential that they would leave\npositions with major companies like Barrick Gold.\"\nFollowing is a brief profile of the 4 new geologists, plus 2 geologists\nthat have been working for Paramount since November 2005:\nRoly Alva has been appointed Senior Project Geologist and will assist\nMark Slauenwhite due to his vast experience and knowledge of the Andean\ngeology. Before joining Paramount, Roly was a senior Project geologist for\n4 years and his last assignation was the Pueblo Viejo project in Dominican\nRepublic, a multi million ounces high sulphidation gold project. Roly has\n15 years of solid exploration experience mainly in Peru, and he also worked\nfor Anglo Gold (NYSE:AU) and several junior Peruvian and foreign exploration\nand mining companies.\nHector Cannalez has been appointed a Project Geologist G...
