About this update from Rev Exploration Corp.

[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nVANCOUVER, May 30 /CNW/ - Gitennes Exploration Inc. (TSX-GIT) is pleased\nto provide an update of its surface chip sampling programme on the recently\ndiscovered Ushcumachay zinc-silver target located within the Company's\nTucumachay project in central Peru.\nAs reported by the Company on March 1, 2006, Ushcumachay is one of a\nseries of zinc targets on the eastern limb of the Saturno anticline, which\ninclude the Alpha, Delta and Korimachay targets. Ushcumachay is the\nsouthernmost of these targets and is located approximately 2 km north of the\nLa Guapita gold zone.\nMineralization in the Ushcumachay zone occurs in limestones, dolomitized\nlimestones and limestone breccias of the uppermost Condorsinga Formation. This\nstratigraphic horizon is the same that hosts the Alpha, Delta and Korimachay\nzinc targets. Zinc mineralization is found at numerous locations along a\nstrike length of over 2,000 metres in this favourable horizon. The zone is\nopen to the south and down-dip under cover rocks. Zinc occurs as smithsonite\nand hydrozincite along fractures, as semi-massive lenses of barite-sphalerite\nrock, in calcite-barite veins, and as disseminated sphalerite in dolomite. The\nthickness of the prospective horizon is thought to be at least 30 metres. The\nsequence is folded into a series of synclines and anticlines and is cut by\nsteep normal faults.\nSampling has focused on two zones of strong fracturing, brecciation and\nreplacement mineralization, referred to as Ushcumachay Norte and Ushcumachay\nSur. Results are detailed below:\n\n>\n\n\n","length":8230,"tagName":"div"}]
