VANCOUVER, Nov. 23 /CNW/ - Gitennes Exploration Inc. (TSX-GIT) is pleased
to provide an update on its exploration activities at the Titimina Property in
central Andean Peru. Gitennes owns a 100% interest in the 2,800-hectare
property, staked to cover prospective ground north and west of Gitennes'
Tucumachay project. Gitennes is currently drilling at Tucumachay.
The Alpha zinc target is a large zone of dolomite and limestone-hosted
zinc mineralization located within the hinge of a local cross-fold along a
fault zone. A mineralized horizon is exposed at its western (SW) edge, which
should dip and plunge east beneath covering layers. These covering layers are
locally altered and contain numerous fracture-controlled zones of
mineralization (locations C, NE and SE, below), believed to represent leakage
from a larger, concealed source.
Surface sample results (all previously released, April 18, 2006) include:

During October geophysical crews for Val d'Or Geofisica del Peru S.A.C.
completed three test lines of induced polarization (IP) surveys over the Alpha
zinc prospect. The test lines are spaced 150 to 200 metres apart, covering the
core of the zone as exposed on surface. Results are highly encouraging,
revealing a distinct moderate-strength chargeability anomaly that is at least
300 metres wide, narrowing to the northeast. The anomaly supports the
interpretation of a large prismatic zone of sulphide mineralization that is
centered within the folded and faulted carbonate sequence.
