("Resverlogix") (TSX:RVX)\nannounced today that the previously announced internal blackout trading\nrestriction of April 21, 2008 has been lifted. All previously announced\ndiscussions regarding regional and global partnerships are actively ongoing\nand should the Board or Management become aware of any new insider information\nthe normal blackout procedures will be reinstated.\n\n\nResverlogix is also pleased to announce that the second arm of the\npreviously announced Phase 1b/2a study has been successfully completed and the\nthird arm will commence shortly.\n\n\nAbout RVX-208\n\n\nRVX-208, a first in class novel small molecule therapeutic that\nfacilitates endogenous Apolipoprotein A-I (ApoA-I) production, is positioned\nto be one of the most promising emerging drugs in the treatment of\natherosclerosis and vascular disorders such as Alzheimer's disease, vascular\ndementia, stroke, and Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD). ApoA-I, the critical\ncardioprotective protein of high-density lipoprotein (HDL) represent the\nbodies natural defense system against atherosclerosis by mediating reverse\ncholesterol transport (RCT), the transport of peripheral cholesterol including\nthat of the vessel wall to the liver for processing.
