("Resverlogix" or the\n "Company") (TSX:RVX)  announces that Dr. Eldon R. Smith OC, MD, FRCPC,\n FCAHS, FAHA, FIACS has been appointed to the Company's Board of\n Directors. The Board remains at 6 members.\n\n\nFrom 1992 to 1997, Dr. Smith was Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the\n University of Calgary. From 1997 until 2010, he has been\n Editor-in-Chief of the Canadian Journal of Cardiology. Dr. Smith's research interests include circulatory mechanics, exercise\n physiology and echocardiography. He has published more than 250 papers\n and book chapters and has been a contributor to many national and\n international organizations; he has been President of the Canadian\n Cardiovascular Society and the Association of Canadian Medical Colleges\n and Vice President of the Inter-American Society of Cardiology. He has\n served on a number of public boards including the Alberta Heritage\n Foundation for Medical Research, the Alberta Health Professions\n Advisory Board, and the Premier's Advisory Council on Health in\n Alberta.
