(\"Resverlogix\") (TSX:RVX) today announced that enrollment and dosing of patients has begun in a Phase\n \n 2b\n \n study at a site at the\n \n University of Alberta\n \n Hospital in\n \n Edmonton\n \n . The trial will evaluate the safety and efficacy of apabetalone as a potential oral treatment for COVID-19.\n \n \n Apabetalone's unique dual epigenetic mechanism may help stop disease progression by regulating the expression of disease and inflammation causing genes, without altering DNA.
