[{"type":"text","content":"\n Rentokil Initial PLC\n27 June 2007\n\n\n27 June 2007\n\n\nOUTCOME OF FRENCH REGULATORY INQUIRY\n\n\nFurther to the announcement made in November 2006, Initial BTB SA, a Rentokil\nInitial subsidiary operating in the washroom services and linen and garment\nrental market in France, has now received the judgment of the French Competition\nCouncil relating to allegations that certain of its activities in a period\nbetween 1997 and 2002 infringed competition laws. As a result, Initial BTB will\npay a fine of €5.25 million.\n\nInitial BTB co-operated in all respects with the inquiry, which has now been\nconcluded. The amount of the fine was provided for in 2006.\n\nRentokil Initial's policy has been and remains to conduct its business in full\ncompliance with all applicable competition laws.
