[{"type":"text","content":"\nMore High Grade Gold at Newman Todd 22.0 metres of 4.31 g/t gold including 1.0 metres of 78.0 g/t gold\n\n(via Thenewswire.ca)\n\n \nConfederation Minerals Ltd. (\"Confederation\") (TSX.V: CFM) is pleased to announce additional drill results from on-going diamond drill program at Newman Todd. An additional two holes are reported in this press release where drilling is targeting shallow mineralization above the Hinge Zone area of the Newman Todd Structure (\"NTS\"). (See Fig. 1)\n\n\n \nResults to date have shown continuity of high grade gold mineralization to surface and the program will now focus on testing continuity of the zones at depth. While some holes are planned to continue to test additional near-surface targets, the program will be expanded to test for high grade gold mineralization below 500 metres, where mineralization remains open.\n\n\n \nSummary of Results:\n\n\n \nTwo drill holes, NT-112 and NT-113, were targeted on cross section 1725, a 25 metre step-out from Holes NT-110 and NT-111 (reported in Confederation's news release dated June 21, 2012)\n\n\n \nDrilling Highlights:\n\n\n \n-NT-112 intersects 22.0 metres of 4.31 g/t gold including 1.0 metres of 78.0 g/t gold, and,\n\n\n \n\n1.50etres of 10.80 g/t gold \n\n-NT-113 intersects 1.0 metres of 8.24 g/t gold.\n\n\n \nComplete results can be found in Table 1.\n\n\n \nDiscussion of Results:\n\n\n \nThe high grade intercept in Hole NT-112 is approximately 50 metres below and south west of the high grade intercept in hole NT-111 (13.0 metres of 5.71 g/t gold including two higher grade sections averaging 17.10 g/t gold over 1.0 metre and 49.60 g/t gold over 1.0 metre.) At present, there is no drilling between these two intercepts while the mineralized corridor surrounding these holes extends for at least 150 metres vertically and remains open to surface and at depth. This corridor is just one of several interpreted across the property drilled along a strike length of approximately 1.8 km. Going forward, the objective of the current drilling program is to test this corridor, and several others which may be parallel to it, to depths below 500 metres.\n\n\n \nLawrence Dick, CEO of Confederation states: \"Our drill plan for the 2012 season is to test for continuity of high grade mineralization with 25 metre step outs. The first four holes of this program have shown exc...
