EDMONTON, July 6 /CNW/ - Solid Resources makes the following clarifying
comments with regard to its news release dated June 29, 2005 at the request of
the TSX Venture Exchange
The data included in the news release were provided by Tony Spat, P.Eng.,
M.Sc. Mineral Exploration, B.Sc. Geology.
The news release reported that "The company's Management and Directors
are extremely pleased with the results and believe they provide strong
evidence of a very significant deposit ...". The news release also reported
that "Solid's Management believes that these assay results and the drilling
program of 2003 provide very good evidence of significant tonnages of
mineralization and economic grades of various metals." Management wishes to
clarify that at this stage no mineral resource estimates have been prepared or
feasibility studies performed and investors are cautioned from relying on
those statements.
Management reports that it is encouraged by the grades identified in the
assay results and by the size of the property.
With regard to mineralogy, visual field mineral identification has been
carried out. The pegmatites are albite-mica-quartz. Tantalum occurs in the
pegmatite as Tantalum oxide and possibly as Niobium-Tantalite. Tin occurs in
the pegmatite as cassiterite, a Tin oxide. Lithium occurs as spodumene often
altering into Kunzite. However, at the contact between the pegmatite and the
schists, lepidolite, a mica mineral of Lithium, is present. The minerals in
the pegmatite within which the Rubidium and Cesium occur have not been
identified.
