[{"type":"text","content":"\n\n\n\n\nEDMONTON, Nov. 21 /CNW/ - Solid Resources Ltd. is pleased to announce the\nappointment of three new directors to the Board - Mr. Joe Dutton, Mr. Bob\nLibin, and Mr. William Maslechko. Mr. Dutton, joined the company recently in\nthe capacity of Senior Vice President as announced in the November 15th news\nrelease.\nMr. Libin is a well known Calgary based businessman. He is the Vice\nPresident of Balmon Investments Ltd. and has served as a director and officer\nof numerous public companies. He was also recently appointed to the Board of\nDirectors of the Calgary Health Trust.\nMr. Maslechko is a senior partner with the Calgary based law firm of\nBurnet, Duckworth & Palmer LLP. He practices in the areas of corporate\nfinance, securities, and mergers and acquisitions. He has also served as a\ndirector of a number of public companies.\nMr. Kevin Moore and Mr. Michael Demaniuk have resigned from the Board of\nDirectors to facilitate the appointment of these individuals.\nSolid also announces that it has approved the granting of stock options,\nsubject to the approval of the regulatory authorities, to acquire an aggregate\nof 200,000 common shares to Mr. Libin and Mr. Maslechko. The options expire at\nthe end of two years with the exercise price being $1.20 per share.\n\n-------------------------------------------------------------------------\nSolid's management plans to continue working diligently towards success\non behalf of its shareholders. The President of Solid Resources, Alvin Harter,\nhas had a life-time of experience in the mining and exploration industry and\nhas been instrumental in the establishment of several mines in Canada and\nMexico. Solid's Vice-President of Exploration, Tony Spat, has also had a\nremarkable career in exploration. He has worked for many senior as well as\njunior mining companies throughout the world and has been instrumental in a\nnumber of important discoveries in different parts of the world.
