Solid Resources announces drill results from its Doade Presqueira deposit in Spain

TSXV: SRW
FRANKFURT: A0BLQQ

EDMONTON, June 29 /CNW/ - Solid Resources announces assay results from
the first two holes of its current drill program in Spain. The company's
Management and Directors are extremely pleased with the results and believe
they provide strong evidence of a very significant deposit of various rare
metals including Lithium, Tantalum, Cesium, and Rubidium, as well as Tin. Each
hole drilled to date has intersected pegmatite stacked structures bearing very
good grades of the various metals.
The drilling program was carried out in the Presqueira area (the northern
portion) of the Doade Presqueira deposit and is aimed at determining the
continuity of mineralization and grades of various metals originally
identified in 2003 by scout drilling. The Pegmatites in this area are sub-
horizontal and outcrop at the surface on the north end.
Hole number one was drilled to a depth of 85.75 metres and intersected
four sub-horizontal Pegmatite structures at depths and thicknesses as follows:

<<

    Depth Thickness
    -----------------------
     9.0 m 2.75 m
    37.4 m 1.30 m
    40.2 m 4.00 m
    62.6 m 15.20 m

Hole number two was drilled to a depth of 70.4 metres and intersected the
fourth structure above at a depth of 45.6 metres and a thickness of
13.7 metres. This structure was also intersected by the holes drilled in 2003.
It is important to note that there is very significant mineralization in
the Schist surrounding the Pegmatites which contain high grades of Lithium,
Rubidium, and Cesium. Samples were taken from both the Pegmatites and the
surrounding Schist and the results are included below. All samples were taken
over a width of 1.0 metre with four exceptions ranging from 0.70 metres to
1.45 metres.
Solid's Management believes that these assay results and the drilling
program of 2003 provide very good evidence of significant tonnages of
mineralization and economic grades of the various metals. In particular, the
results are considered excellent for Lithium which is a very important
resource in the battery market and modern technology in general. Assay results
and other data on the additional holes are still being compiled; however, the
highest assay for Lithium is in excess of 10,000 parts per million (20 lbs.
per ton) which is the maximum limit of the assay technique employed. Several
others are close to this level. These results will be released once all
information has been received.
The Doade Presqueira concession consists of a NNW-SSE trending
mineralized pegmatite belt 600 metres wide with a strike length of
14 kilometres. The Presqueira area where the current sampling program is being
carried out represents only about 20% of the mineralized zones on the
concession.
The drilling program, sampling, and shipments of samples were conducted
under the direction of Rolf Burkhardt, Phd. Geol., the company's Manager of
Field Exploration. The assays were performed by ALS Chemex of North Vancouver,
British Columbia, Canada. The Lithium assays were conducted with analytical
procedure ME-ICP61a. The Cesium assays were conducted utilizing ME-MS61.
Assays of the other metals were conducted utilizing ME-XRF05.

The assay results from holes number one and two are as follows:
