Solid Appoints Dr. Peter Le Couteur to Advisory Board

Solid Resources Ltd. ("Solid" or the "Company") (TSX Venture: SRW) (Frankfurt: A0BLQQ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter C. Le Couteur, Ph.D, P. Eng., to the Advisory Board.

Dr. Le Couteur, a resident of North Vancouver, British Columbia, received his B.Sc and M.Sc from the University of Auckland, New Zealand and his Ph.D in geology from the University of British Columbia. He is a Professional Engineer of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, a Fellow of the Geological Association of Canada and a member of the Society of Economic Geologists.

Dr. Le Couteur has been involved in mineral exploration since 1967 with a wide variety of deposit types and commodities. He has a particular interest in the "special metals" such as tantalum, lithium, niobium, zirconium and rare earths. Dr. Le Couteur has also been involved in the exploration of gold, lead-zinc, copper and uranium, platinum group metals, nickel-cobalt, bismuth, and diamonds. His exploration programs have been located throughout North America, South America, Asia, Europe, and Africa.

Dr. Le Couteur was employed as a Geologist for Cominco Ltd from 1975 to 1987, as a Project Geologist for Highwood Resources Ltd from 1987 to 1989, and from 1989 to 1991 by Strathcona Mineral Services. His most recent junior mineral exploration company positions were as Vice- President of Fjordland Exploration and Chief Geologist of Pathfinder Resources Ltd. He was a partner in Vancouver Indicator Processors Inc. and is currently President of Micron Geological Ltd.

Since 2004, in addition to continuing exploration field work, he has carried out petrographic studies for various clients in the mineral exploration industry using light microscopes and a scanning electron microscope with an x-ray analyzer. Since 2007 he has spent an increasing amount of time on this petrographic work, but also continues to do field work.

Dr. Le Couteur is a "Qualified Person" as defined by National Instrument 43-101, and has written a number of NI 43-101 reports.
