("Medworxx") announced today that\nit has closed a record number of software license transactions in the second\nquarter of 2009, signing contracts with 8 new customers as well as additional\nbusiness with 3 existing customers.\n\n\nMedworxx provides healthcare solutions for decision support, compliance\nand education. Today, hospitals throughout North America use the Medworxx\nsoftware platform to leverage the power of knowledge to increase competency,\nreduce redundancy, reduce costs, support compliance and simplify distribution\nof knowledge to staff and patients.\n\n\nThe success in the second quarter was represented across multiple\nproducts and geographies. Medworxx now has customers in 9 provinces and 17\nstates.\n\n\nContracts for the Medworxx Learning Management System were signed with\nBloorview Kids Rehab, Kingston General Hospital, and Northumberland Hills\nHospital, all in Ontario, and with Greenway Medical Technologies in Georgia\nand Sonic Healthcare USA in Texas.\n\n\nThe Medworxx Policy Document Management System has been licensed by\nBurntwood Regional Health Authority in Manitoba, MICS Group of Health Services\nrepresenting 3 hospitals in Ontario, as well as a license with an existing\ncustomer in Ontario, and the University of Maryland Medical Center in\nMaryland.\n\n\nIn the quarter Medworxx also signed a license agreement with its first\nQuebec customer, CSSS du Lac des Deux-Montagnes for the Medworxx Utilization\nManagement System (UMS), as well as additional license agreements with\nSouthlake Regional Health Centre in Ontario and Alberta Health Services,\nalready users of Medworxx UMS.\n\n\n"We are very proud to announce this record number of new license\ntransactions for Medworxx.
