These amounts\ncompare to net income for the second quarter of fiscal 2005 of $2.6 million,\nor $0.13 per basic share, on royalty revenue of approximately $6.0 million.\nIncluded in the second quarter results is non-cash stock compensation\nexpense of $1.1 million, or $0.03 per basic share net of tax, related to the\nCompany's equity compensation plans. The non-cash compensation expense has\nbeen allocated among cost of operations, general and administrative, and\nexploration and business development in the Company's consolidated statements\nof operations and comprehensive income.\nIn the prior year period, non-cash stock compensation expense was\n$119,125, allocated to cost of operations, general and administrative, and\nexploration and business development in the Company's consolidated statements\nof operations and comprehensive income.\nNet income for the six-month period ended December 31, 2005, was\n$6.0 million, or $0.27 per basic share, on royalty revenue of $14.4 million.\nThis compares to net income of $5.1 million, or $0.25 per basic share, for the\nsix-month period ended December 31, 2004, on royalty revenue of $12.0 million.\nIncluded in the six-month period is non-cash stock compensation expense of\n$1.3 million, or $0.04 per basic share net of tax, related to the Company's\nequity compensation plans.
